No driver’s license is required to participate in this Budapest half-day tour. Our MonsteRoller scooters are allowed on the bike paths in Budapest and we use them wherever we can. This means that the majority of our routes use bike paths, and you’ll be led by one of our experienced guides all the way.
We’ll start your Budapest food tour and sightseeing experience with a short training session. Your guide will show you how to use the MonsteRoller e-scooter and will give you some practice time to make sure you can ride confidently. Even if it’s your first time on a bike or e-scooter, you’ll get the hang of it quickly, just like more than 100,000 of our satisfied guests did.
The Eat, Ride & Love Budapest tour has a route of over 30 km, which means you’ll see more in half a day riding on our electric scooters than with two whole days of walking! There is no other way of getting around the city that would allow you to see so much in such a short time.
Take this as a warning of the best kind! While this tour isn’t all about food, we have lined up several tastings of local specialities and staples of Hungarian cuisine and households. We know that local food is one of the best ways to experience a culture and get closer to the true spirit of a place.
The food may vary based on availability, your preferences, and what you may have already tried — but a chimney cake, lángos, and several other items are on the list!
It doesn’t get more personal and cosy than this. On this four-hour private tour of Budapest, it’s just your group and your local guide! You’ll have plenty of time to get to know each other and take a deep dive into Hungarian culture and history.
You’ll also have the space to ask any questions you have and to get personalised recommendations for the rest of your time in Budapest. Your local professional guide will be more than happy to help.
