The route is approximately 43 km and includes — amongst other stops — Erzsébet kilátó (Elizabeth Lookout), which is the highest point of Budapest, and Guckler Károly kilátó (Károly Guckler Lookout), which provides the most stunning panoramic view of Budapest and its surroundings.
Our trail includes uphill and downhill sections, paved and gravel roads, forest trails, and scenic riverbank bike paths on our way back to the city centre. Please see the route map below.
Comfort is key during your ride. We head out early in the day and finish around 2 pm which is the hottest part of the day. We’ll go uphill, downhill, through woods and sunshine. For these reasons, we recommend leisurely and layered clothing so that you can adapt to the changing circumstances during the tour.

The tour starts from the Gepida Factory Store bicycle shop located at Bartók Béla út 39, 1114 Budapest. This is where you’ll meet your guide, pick up your bike & helmet and get ready for the tour.
It’s a 2-minute walk from “Móricz Zsigmond körtér” which is a stop for metro line M4, tram lines 6, 41, 47, 49, 56, bus line 7 and more.
The tour ends at the same location.

If we cancel for such reasons, we will let you know as soon as possible and if we can’t find a suitable date to reschedule your tour, you will receive a full refund.
Rescheduling tours: Tours can be rescheduled if given advance notice of more than 24 hours, based on availability. If you let us know within less than 24 hours that you can’t make it but you’d like to rebook for another date or time, or if you don’t show up for your tour but would like to reschedule: you will be charged a rebooking fee of €15/person. Sure. If you have bags that you’d like to leave with us for the duration of your tour, we can store your luggage safely and free of charge at our locations while you’re out discovering Budapest.
This e-bike adventure tour is designed to be a small-group experience, with no more than 8 people in the group. We want to make sure we can ride together smoothly and at a pace that suits everyone.

Tipping is not mandatory but it is always much appreciated. In general, you can aim at around 10%, but only if you’re happy with the provided services.
