Budapest E-Scooter Rental

• Age limit: participants must be 16 years or older for self-guided rides (under adult supervision).
• You must have a valid photo ID card or a copy of your passport with you. One photo ID per group will be photographed as a deposit during the rental period.
• The listed price does not include a security deposit of €100 or HUF 40 000 per vehicle, payable on the spot. The deposit is refundable at the return after rental.
• Due to the nature of the activity, drivers must be sober during the tour. If you arrive intoxicated, we will be forced to cancel your ride without  a refund.

• Please arrive a few minutes early to get set for your ride without any rush.

Comfort is key during your ride. Riding an e-scooter means it can get windy during the ride, so we recommend wearing layered clothing. High heel shoes and short skirts are not recommended.

Please note that bookings are valid whether rain or shine, but don’t worry: we can provide rain ponchos if it rains, and warm gloves when it gets cold.

Yes. Our MonsteRoller electric scooters qualify as e-bikes so you can use the bike lanes. In fact, our tour routes mostly use bike paths and we recommend using them during self-guided rides as well for the safest and most enjoyable ride. If you rent a MonsteRoller e-scooter, you can ask our team to give you route recommendations and they will be happy to help.

Self-guided MonsteRoller rentals start from our downtown location at Bécsi utca 8, 1052 Budapest. It’s a 2-minute walk from Deák Ferenc tér metro station (lines M1, M2 and M3).

By default, your ride ends at the same location. However, if you let our team know in advance, in most cases it’s possible for you to drop off your scooter at our other location on the Buda side at Várkert rakpart 16, 1013 Budapest at the end of your ride.

Also, it’s possible to start your ride from our location at Várkert rakpart if that suits you better, but please get in touch with our team directly to make sure we have enough capacity at that location and we can prepare the bikes you booked.

Sure. If you have a few bags that you’d like to leave with us while you ride carefree, we can store your luggage safely and free of charge at our stores while you’re out exploring Budapest.

We’ll do our best to accommodate everyone who’d like to ride and try to make sure you can ride together with your group. However, in case of large groups of 10 or more people, we reserve the right to divide the group into more than one group and start them a few minutes apart for maximum safety, and in order to minimize disturbance to city traffic. Thank you for understanding.

Bookings are valid whether rain or shine, so please dress accordingly. But don’t worry: we can provide rain ponchos if needed, and gloves if it gets cold.

However, in case of extreme weather conditions or unforeseen events, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the activity until next availability. If we cancel for such reasons, you will receive a full refund.

Rescheduling rentals: Rentals can be rescheduled based on availability. If you cannot make it at the original booked time, let us know as soon as you can and our team will do our best to offer you alternate options – however, please note that it’s subject to availability and in high season, we may not be able to give you another suitable option due to a large number of reservations. Please note that if you are trying to reschedule within 24 hours and we cannot give you another suitable date, you will not be entitled to a refund.

Rescheduling tours: Tours can be rescheduled if given advance notice of more than 24 hours (based on availability). If you let us know within less than 24 hours that you cannot make it but would like to rebook for another date or time, or you don’t show up for your tour but would like to reschedule, you will be charged a rebooking fee of €15/person. Thank you for understanding.
