We also have a store in Buda, located at Várkert rakpart 16, a 10-minute walk from Buda Castle. These convenient locations will make it easy for you to explore either side of Budapest as you wish!
Both of our stores are open from Monday to Sunday so feel free to stop by! You can check our opening times online beforehand. Our friendly staff are more than happy to help you arrange your e-scooter rentals. You can also book your e-scooters using our website before coming to collect them from the store. If need be, you can reschedule the time of your rental where possible.
How Does Renting an Electric Scooter in Budapest Work?
Our Budapest E-Scooter Rental service is incredibly easy to use. We offer different rental options depending on how long you would like to use the scooter for, whether that’s one, two, or three hours, or even for the whole day! Our prices start from €25 for one hour, increasing at €15 for every additional hour. For the best value, rent a MonsteRoller e-scooter for a whole day during opening hours for just €69! We do also ask for a security deposit, which will be refunded once your scooter is returned in its original condition. Anyone 16 years old and above can rent an e-scooter with adult supervision, and no driver’s license is needed!
Before you head out, our staff will give you clear instructions on how to work your e-scooter. Within a matter of minutes, you’ll be set to go! We also provide you with helmets to ensure your safety, as well as locks for your scooter for all-day rentals. If you need to, you can also leave your luggage with us while you ride.
Depending on where you want to go, our team can provide you with tips on the best route and other locations you might want to see. Once your ride is finished, you can return your scooter to either one of our stores.

What E-Scooter Can You Rent in Budapest?
At E-Magine, we have one of the best e-scooters available to rent – the MonsteRoller. This vehicle has 24-centimetre-wide wheels and a low platform that makes driving it smooth and stable. - It’s a good idea to wear comfortable clothing for your scooter ride. We recommend that you avoid any short skirts or high heels. Closed sneakers and layered clothes are best, especially since it can get a bit windy on an e-scooter!
- You can rent an e-scooter no matter the weather. However, if it does happen to rain on the day of your rental and you’ve come unprepared, we do offer rain ponchos and warm gloves when needed.
- While you’ll be driving on safe bike paths, it’s always important to be aware of your surroundings and other riders. Ride at a pace that you’re comfortable and do not feel pressure to go at a higher speed.
- In the peak tourist season, scooters can be booked up quickly! We always recommend planning your ride ahead of time and booking your rental online in advance to ensure you get a scooter on the day.
